I Got You, Fam.

Welp, I've added another project to my life. Imagine that.

It is my pleasure to introduce a brand new newsletter for you all, for Indies by Indies. I have long debated starting a YouTube Channel for educational purposes, but I make so much video promotional material, I think my best bet is to just write! 

First, the why. 

I am, at my core, a voracious learner. Once something sparks my interest, I must learn everything there is to know about it. When the publishing bug bit me, it was the same story. As always, I do not claim to be your self-proclaimed indie publishing guru as many out there do. Rather, I’d simply like to share the information I’ve learned throughout the years that helped me grow my press and my career as an indie author. There is a lot of misinformation out there and a lot of ‘programs’ designed to exploit hopeful authors. I’d like to do my part in sticking it to these vultures.

I’m really excited to begin this next chapter; I went to school to be a teacher before I decided to get my Masters in Library Science, and let’s face it, nothing gets me more pumped than information—learning it, sharing it, organizing it. I hope during this process, I can help green indies and perhaps learn some new things myself. As always, your support is deeply appreciated.
