This made me emotional, and I'm a relatively new Crow! After feeling like I was spinning my wheels for years, I've finally found people who get my vibe. So thankful for everything joining the Q&C Murder has brought me - including my debut novel!!! - and I can't wait to see what we all do next! 🖤🦇
This was lovely to read, Cassandra. I can def relate to the querying stuff. I found comfort in the small bits of praise that came with personal rejections, but the absolute slow state of it all was brutal, knowing that getting an agent really didn't mean that I'd come any closer to having a book in people's hands. Finding the Anomalies & Curiosities call was perfect timing for me. I just wanted to sink creativity into something new and different, but getting a simple short story acceptance came with a community as well, and that's been really validating and comforting, is to have "found my people", sharing art and work and talking with other folks at the press. It's been such a blessing so far and I hope good things will keep blossoming (or decaying beautifully?) from Q&C.

So happy to have found you, Mary!! So excited for your novel 🖤
You’re amazing, Cass. So glad to be a crow. Even as I struggle, I’ll never give up because of the community, and support I feel from my murder💛
So happy to have connected with your amazing self! Always a pleasure to see you around.
A little ouch in this read. Love the new logo as much as the old one. Onward into the future!
I’ve truly enjoyed the anthologies I’ve read so far, so many great writers at Q&C! I look forward to the future and many more great reads.
Love the new logo and I guess now my coffee mug will be a collector’s item? 😊
Thank you for your support! We plan on keeping the “vintage logo” around still 😊

It really was serendipitous how everything came about. Super glad we connected and I’m down for continuing to decay beautifully with all of you 🖤
This is really cool. You and all the other indie presses are my inspiration for my own! 😌
